2023-2024 School Year Covid FAQ’s

We know there are many questions about Covid-19 and how Valley Parent Preschool is approaching preschool during the pandemic. Given the unpredictable nature of the situation, it is not possible for us to know exactly what things will look like next school year, but below is what we do know at this time. Our school remains flexible and committed to the health, safety, and wellness of our community and we have been incredibly grateful for our school families who share this vision and have joined us in providing a safe place for children and families to learn and grow.

  • Covid Vaccines will be recommended but not required for all adults and children on campus. We will continue to follow the guidelines set forth by the state, county, and Community Care licensing with regards to covid vaccine requirements. VPP asks that co-oping adults declining the COVID vaccine wear a mask indoors at VPP.

  • We highly recommend but don’t require all adults on campus to keep current on their Covid-19 booster shots.

  • We do not plan to require children be vaccinated against Covid-19 unless the state or county requires it. If or when it becomes a requirement, we will follow suit.

  • Yes, school policies including, but not limited to travel, quarantine, and masking may be different depending on a child’s vaccination status.

  • We will be meeting, but not exceeding, local and state masking requirements. VPP asks that co-oping adults declining the COVID vaccine wear a mask indoors at VPP.

  • Enrollment fees and tuition are non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason. The General Information Policy and Handbook may be found here. Families are asked to read everything thoroughly before enrolling to be sure VPP is a good fit for your family.

  • Our current Covid-19 policies may be found on our website here. We follow the guidelines set forth by the state, county, and Community Care licensing so policies are likely to change as the pandemic evolves. We will always keep our community informed of any changes as soon as we receive them.
