Our schedule is a framework for our day. Our goal is to be responsive to the children, the parents, and the situation. As a result, the times listed are flexible based on the needs of the day.
Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten
| 8:40 | Participating families arrive. Parents sign in their child, sign up for their requested work area, get their apron and job card. Children start an activity in the library. AM Playgroup children arrive, are signed in, and start an activity in the library. |
| 8:45 | Morning meeting with teachers. Children go to Block Room for activities. |
| 9:00 | Children arrive, wash hands & go to morning music in the Block Room. |
| 9:10 | Free choice: Activity Area, Library, Block Room and Outdoor open. |
| 10:25 | Clean up and hand washing. |
| 10:30 | Group snack time. |
| 10:40 | Small group activities. |
| 11:30 | Closing Circle and Dismissal. Participating parents begin cleaning duties. |
Kinderprep
| 12:15 | Participating families arrive, sign in, get their apron and job card, and meet with teacher. |
| 12:30 | Children arrive, wash hands, sign themselves in and go to the back yard. |
| 12:45 | Circle time with calendar, music, sharing and project introductions. |
| 1:10 | Project time. Children rotate through areas, spending about 15-20 minutes in each area. |
| 2:00 | Wash hands and have snack |
| 2:15 | Free choice |
| 3:15 | Closing circle |
| 3:30 | Children dismissed. Participating parents begin cleaning duties. |
