| Dear Parents,
Next week we will be practicing our first fire drill. It will be done at the beginning of small group time. We will all walk outside holding onto a rope and go to the end of the driveway,farthest from the street.
During small group we will practice “Stop,Drop and Roll” and do an experiment about how fire needs air.We will talk about how firemen are our friends and hopefully will be able to get a fireman to come in and talk to our class.If you know one who could come in ,please e-mail me. We will also make a pumpkin out of a paper bag and use shapes to make a pumpkin face.
We will learn two new songs-5 Little pumpkins and Stirring our Brew.
This may be a good time to make an fire escape plan for your family in case of a fire and also a meeting place.
